I just finished building my first kite. Just a 6 footer but I like it. Now to see if it flies. Randy

Hey Randy,
Welcome to kitebuilding!!! It looks great ;D Can't wait to see a picture of it flying. You'll have such a big smile on your face when you fly it. It's such a sense of accomplishment when something you make is in the air flying.
Way to go!!!!
Donna

Thanks Donna. I will post a pic of it flying when I get the chance to fly it.
Now I have an even greater appreciation for the applique that Jeff did on his big Delta.

I flew it today. It leans about 20 degrees to the right but is stable. I will try some tuning on it this week. Here it is as a kite and no longer just art. LOL Randy

;D Yea!!!! Wish Sylvia would have had a camera on you as you launched it. I bet there was a big smile on your face. You get hooked in no time in making the kites. There's something about taking a piece of material and putting it together and seeing it fly for the first time. Way to go, Randy!!! I've still got some tweaking to do on one of mine that is determined to fly to the right. Guess we could fly ours side by side and not worry about tangling Donna
